Truly, I hadn’t ever seen David Lynch’s Dune until today. I felt, and still feel, like watching it was going to take away from how much I adore Frank Herbert’s novel, which has been my second most favorite sci-fi novel. However, prior to seeing Denis Villeneuve’s film, I thought it best to observe it after all this time.
